Eye Ride permet d’afficher Waze, Google Maps et les aides à la navigation directement dans le champ de vision du pilote.Il se clipse sur n’importe quel casque de moto.

EyeRide transforme en cockpit d'avion de chasse n'importe quel casque de moto avec son système de vision tête haute, ou en VO “Head-up Display” (HUD). Comme dans un Rafale de chez Dassault, les infos de navigation, limitations de vitesse ou alertes le long de la route apparaissent dans le petit écran placé devant l'oeil droit, bien protégé par la visière du casque.

Le résultat est bluffant. On a dans le champ de vision un écran en réalité augmenté sans gêner le regard. Plus besoin de baisser les yeux pour savoir où aller. L'affichage est de très bonne définition et la luminosité, ainsi que le volume sonore se règlent via Captain Rider, une appli compatible dédiée à la communauté des motards.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sharpness, color and resolution of the tiny, tiny HUD module, which uses an OLED display in the prism. It is far superior to the old system I loved so much. It takes a minute to really dial in the position of the HUD for optimal quality, but it’s worth it and after a few uses it’s habit to adjust the small arm the HUD module rides on.
