The eye Ride makes it possible to display Waze, Google Maps and navigation aid directly in the driver's field of view. It clips onto any motorcycle helmet.
The result is stunning. We have in the field of vision an augmented reality screen without hinders the gaze. No more looking down to know where to go. The display is of very good definition and the brightness, as well as the sound volume, are regulated via Captain Rider, a compatible app dedicated to the motorcycle community.
EYeRide transforms any motorcycle helmet with its head-up vision system, or “Head-up Display” (HUD), into a fighter plane cocktail. As in a Drafale from Dassault, navigation information, speed limits or alerts along the road appear in the small screen placed in front of the right eye, well protected by the visor of the helmet.
From our point of view, AyeRide is therefore intended for long walks as well as unknown journeys requiring the use of GPS, which saves the battery on daily journeys. The investment is worth it if you are a fan of long rides, the feeling of being a fighter pilot as a bonus!
It takes a minute to really Dial in the position of the HUD for optimal quality, but it's worth it and after a few uses it's dress to just the small arm the HUD module wrinkles on. I use them an iPhone, so the AyeRide system default to Apple CarPlay, with a second app, Captain Rider, reading adjustment of the system and management of wireless connections, including working as a connection to talk with other
